For nearly 20 Years, dedicated and expert installation and service of           portable fire extinguishers and industrial fire detection and suppression           systems has been the hallmark of Halonite Fire Systems.

Portable Fire Extinguishers
Like any mechanical device, a portable fire extinguisher must be inspected and serviced regularly to ensure proper operation when needed. Unlike many other devices, proper operation of your fire extinguisher could mean the difference between life and death when the time comes. For this reason, the law requires that fire extinguishers in every business, school, and church be professionally inspected and certified at least once per year. Sometimes, the inspection will reveal that service is necessary before the extinguisher can be certified. Halonite's technicians are fully trained and approved to perform cutting edge inspections, certifications and service.

Sometimes, service may be necessary during the time period between annual inspections. You may have discharged the extinguisher intentionally during a fire. You may have discharged the extinguisher accidentally while moving it or during the course of daily business. Someone may have accidentally or intentionally tampered with the extinguisher, compromising it's dependability. Since the Fire Marshall (and Halonite) recommend that you visually check your portable fire extinguishers every month between annual certifications, you may notice any or all of these things. If you do, call Halonite immediately and we will quickly send out a technician to address the problem. If, during the course of annual inspections, or during the times between, you have an extinguisher that needs to be taken to Halonite's facilities for service, we will always leave a fully functional and up to date extinguisher in its place until it returns.
